Biomedical Research Awareness Day (BRAD)
University of Pennsylvania
April 19, 2017
The Pennsylvania Society for Biomedical Research (PSBR) invites you to join us in celebrating Biomedical Research Awareness Day (BRAD) on April 19, 2017.
BRAD, initiated by Americans for Medical Progress (AMP), is an international program focused on increasing awareness of the role of animals in biomedical research and related careers. This year, a number of veterinary schools, medical schools and research institutions throughout the world will host events recognizing the importance of biomedical research and the value that animals play in this community.
Specifically in Philadelphia, the University of Pennsylvania's Medical and Veterinary Schools will be hosting tables and seminars throughout the day, providing knowledge and information to the public. PSBR is helping to facilitate the day and would love your support.
If you'd like more information or are interested in participating on behalf of PSBR, please contact David Garbe, PSBR's Outreach Educator at firstname.lastname@example.org.
